A Day in the life of an LSE Law Student

Daily Commute
As a commuter, I eat breakfast whilst my dad drops me off at the local train station, and I use the Elizabeth Line to travel into Central London. Then I have an almost 20 minute walk into the campus itself, so my journey is about 1hr 20 minutes in total.

Morning Class or Lecture
I generally have a class or lecture most mornings. Thankfully, I only have one 9am start for a class on Tuesday. I try to come in quite early (8:00-8:30 am) in order to finish off my reading notes if need be. This does sound a bit boring, but I treat it as more of a morning (mental) stretch, and I tend to do more of my heavy reading after any lectures/classes in the afternoon or evening.

Mooting
I also thought I’d describe a fun activity that Law students get to participate in at LSE called mooting where I would prepare an argument for a case, as if I were a barrister, then make my ‘court submission’ before an assigned judge (normally a senior student).
